 rsed in a favorite childhood tale. Occupying an 8\,000-square-foot gallery
 \, Noah’s Ark at the Skirball™ welcomes children and families to take 
 this journey together.\n\n Archaeology Dig and Discovery Center - The out
 door archaeology dig and research tent as well as the indoor archaeology D
 iscovery Center—which holds original artifacts from the ancient Near Eas
 t—give families the opportunity to journey together into the past and di
 scover what they have in common with people who lived centuries ago. Roll 
 up your sleeves\, don an archaeologist's vest\, and sift and sort through 
 the remains of an Iron Age city buried beneath the sand to discover fascin
 ating clues about life in the ancient world.\n\nFamily Art Studio - The Sk
 irball's drop-in Family Art Studio offers an ever-changing menu of creativ
 e projects for families to work on together. Facilitated by local artists\
 , these projects often incorporate recycled and repurposed materials—fro
 m cloth and canisters to widgets and wire—and focus on exploring the way
