We love to celebrate births with creative ceremonies surrounding the naming of a baby and bringing him or her into the Jewish community. Rather than have a routine service, we generally use a format that we build upon to make each service unique to that family. Together we create a meaningful ceremony and a process that will help guide the parent and the child through their life’s journey. Usually, the baby naming (for both boys and girls) and bris (for a boy) takes place at the home of the parents with friends and family helping to provide the food and the loving environment.
